A new build on a site that needed some imagination to get past the rugged terrain at first

The brief
A family home that would work for their growing needs but also take into account the amazing views but also incoporate protection from the Manawatu winds
The approach
The site at first - nothing like the photos - but between myself and the clients we had the vision and the belief we could make it work and the outcome speaks for itself.
The outcome
The view, the site, the platform and the overall home layout. This home made me so proud to be involved and the trust we all had together made this spectacular master piece fit beautifully tucked in on its surrounding's whilst having enough presence to say "I'm here"

“When we purchased our piece of land, it was rough terrain—hardly a place most people could envisage building a home. Monica’s advice and expertise turned our vision into reality, taking us from a raw gully to a beautifully engineered platform with an architectural masterpiece that captures the sun and views perfectly. We are deeply grateful to her for all her hard work in creating our family home.”L & A, Palmerston North
