The brief
The client wanted a home that had character / charm and features not often seen in today's style of home.
The approach
We took the elements of the "Queenslander" style with the verandahs around the living rooms meaning the doors out to these spaces never have to be shut. The use of traditional detail products created the fretwork detail to the posts to keep the home in it's true character but with all the modern aspects of a new home.
The outcome
This home with the character charm from the outside looks like it could have been completed long ago - but lives up to all the benefits of a modern build.
