The brief
The clients wanted a home that would blend in with the environment but still have the charm of character and sophistication as soon as you approach the entry.
The approach
This home was all about the clients - not seen from the road, it's a true surprise when you come up the drive. The living rooms and master bedroom all face out to the sunny northern side to create a private outdoor space in almost it's on little micro climate.
The outcome
A stunning mix of dark and light claddings create the mood at the entry and outdoor living areas. The use of a covered outdoor space means that in the summer months the exterior environment of the home is as much part of the home as the inside.
