The brief
On this elevated site located close to town but with the feel of being out in the country the clients wanted a home that worked with the site, but large enough to deal with a growing family.
The approach
The biggest decision was to put all the bedrooms on the first floor so the living rooms could use the footprint of the site - this created the amazing open plan living room perfect for a growing family and entertaining. A pitched celling in the living room was a must and had to follow to outdoors where the space creates another room on it's own.
The outcome
From the moment you pull up you can appreciate the height and form this house has. But as soon as you enter the front door your automatically drawn to the outside with the way the light captures the views.
